The Zug Classic Car Award 2026 is a Concours d’Elegance for historic, elegant and extraordinary automobiles and takes place directly on Lake Zug.

The event will take place on Wednesday, 12 August 2026, on Lake Zug in Zug and brings selected classics, collectors, enthusiasts and visitors together for a stylish automotive day by the lake.

A Concours d’Elegance is a traditional gathering of particularly valuable, well-preserved and historically significant automobiles, where selected vehicles are presented, admired and evaluated by an expert jury.

The Zug Classic Car Award is free of charge for visitors. No ticket is required to attend as a spectator.

Registered vehicles will be presented throughout the day and judged in various award categories, including Pre-War, Post-War, Youngtimer, Modern Classics, Best of Show, Best unrestored car, Public’s Favourite and Special Jury Favourite.

The programme includes arrival, participant welcome, vehicle briefing, jury introduction, award ceremony and the end of the event in the evening.

Vehicle participation is handled separately by the organiser. The participation fee is CHF 185 per vehicle for one day. An optional lunch is available for CHF 45.

Visitors can expect a unique atmosphere with classic vehicles, elegant automotive culture and a special setting directly by the lake in Zug.

Programme:

• 08:00 - 09:00: Arrival, parking and participant briefing
• 09:45: Briefing and presentation by bus
• 10:00: Start of jury judging of the competition vehicles
• 15:00: Award ceremony on the main stage
• 16:00: Small apéritif and farewell
• 17:00: End of the event
