Explore Dubai’s iconic Red Dunes on a 4-hour desert safari with dune bashing, sandboarding, camel ride and optional quad biking.
This Dubai Desert Safari starts with hotel pickup by a licensed guide in a comfortable 4x4, available as a shared or private basis depending on the selected option. After leaving the city, you will travel towards the Red Dunes of Lahbab Desert, where golden sand dunes and desert scenery create the setting for an unforgettable adventure.
During the drive to the desert, enjoy Dubai’s skyline fading into the open landscape. On arrival at the Red Dunes base, there is time for a short break, photo stop and preparation before the safari begins.
The experience includes approximately 45 minutes of dune bashing in a 4x4 vehicle, sandboarding, a short camel ride and bottled drinking water.
If selected, the optional quad bike experience gives you around 30 minutes of guided quad biking at the desert meeting point. Quad biking is available for guests aged 15 and above and requires a signed indemnity form.
The tour is available in morning and afternoon slots. The afternoon option may include a desert sunset experience, depending on timing and availability.
This is a family-friendly desert adventure suitable for travellers looking for a short but immersive Red Dunes experience with hotel pickup and drop-off included.
Important:
- This tour lasts approximately 4 hours from pickup to drop-off, including drive time.
- Quad biking is allowed for guests aged 15 and above only and requires a signed indemnity form.
- Quad biking is at the customer’s own risk, and insurance may not cover damages or loss.
- The camel ride is a short experience of approximately 2 minutes and can be repeated depending on availability.
- Shared tours allow up to 6 guests per 4x4 vehicle.
- Private tours include an exclusive vehicle and safari guide.
- All vehicles include roll cages, GPS, seatbelts and first-aid kits.
- Dune bashing is operated by licensed and trained desert safari drivers.
- This tour is not suitable for children under 3 years, pregnant women, people with back problems or wheelchair users.
- Child seats are not provided.

Refund Policy
- Bookings with Ticket Protection can be cancelled for a full refund up to 1 hour before the event.
- Bookings without Ticket Protection can be cancelled for a refund up to 24 hours before the event.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the event without Ticket Protection are not eligible for a refund.
Additional Cancellation Terms
Bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled experience start time, according to the organiser’s cancellation terms. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the experience, late arrivals, missing pickup information or no-shows may result in the booking being non-refundable. Pickup time and pickup location must be confirmed after booking. Customers must be reachable on the contact number provided during checkout.
Weather Policy
Desert safari activities may be affected by weather conditions, safety restrictions, road conditions or operational decisions by the organiser. If the experience cannot take place safely, the organiser may reschedule, modify or cancel the activity. If the organiser cancels the experience and no alternative option is available, customers may be eligible for a refund according to Grande Turismo’s standard refund terms.
